This a is beautiful city. My friend, Irina, who was a professional ballerina, hails from St. Petersburg. She lives in the US now. Her Mom, and daughter also lives in Massachusetts. Irina and I met at a local Russian Orthadox church and is currently visiting St. Petersburg now for a month or so, to see her dancing friends. It is very interesting to hear her stories of how she was born in a turbulent time around WWII, when the city was under seige. |

Thanks for the nice view. I seach for different pics of russia. I have been ther twice( winter-summer). I visited Moscow, Yoshkar-Ola, and Kazan on my last trips. I very much want to vist St. Pete some day too. |
